Dear student
The gas will show ideal behaviour at high temperature and low pressure and it justify the ideal gas equation at these conditions.
i.e. PV = nRT
If either the pressure is increased or temperature is decreased it will start deviation from ideal behaviour.
Now lets consider the given cases:
a) If it is compressed to a smaller volume at constant temperature, then the by increasing the pressure the volume is decreased and the gas molecules come closer to each other and start deviation from ideal behaviour.
b) If the temperature is raised while keeping the volume constant, then the kinetic energy of the gas molecules increased and the gas starts expand, so the inter molecular distance increased and gas show ideal behaviour.
c) If more gas is introduced into the same volume and at the same temperature, then the pressure increased and gas start deviation from ideal behaviour.
