Explain which is a stronger acid between Phenol and Thiophenol.

Phenol is a stronger acid than Thiophenol. This is because in Phenol (C6H5−OH), the −OH group is present and in Thiophenol (C6H5−SH) the −SH group is present.
The −I effect of −OH group is stronger than −SH group thus it can easily lose H+ and thus act as a stronger acid.
