Question

Explain why a balloon bursts when too much air is blown into it?

Open in App
Solution

When we inflate a balloon, we are forcing air into the balloon. The air that we low requires space to stay. As it occupies space, the balloon that is made of rubber expands. The expansion is due to the elasticity of rubber. As we keep blowing, the air pressure builds up inside the balloon, and the rubber expands to its maximum limits. If we blow again, the balloon won’t be able to expand but the air that we blows in need space still, and the balloon bursts.

It blows because it cant handle large amount of air pressure and Large amount of molecules cant fit in it so thats why the baloon bursts
