Question

Explain why equatorial areas receive heavy rainfall everyday

Open in App
Solution

Equatorial areas receive heavy rainfall everyday because the high temperature in these regions cause air to heat up and rise. This air contains a lot of moisture. As the air rises, it cools down causing the moisture to condense. The condensed moisture falls down as rain.
