  1. Exhaustible energy sources are ones as a way to use up and exhaust in a few hundred years.
  2. Example: Coal, Petroleum.

Fossil fuels are exhaustible natural resources because of the following reasons:

  1. Fossil fuels are made of the remains of live species which have died.
  2. Fossil fuel formation is an extended approach that takes tens of thousands and thousands of years.
  3. As a result, the range of resources accessible to users is limited, and human activities such as industrialization and rapid expansion are depleting them.
  4. As a result, fossil fuels are finite natural resources.

Importance of fossil fuels:

  1. Fossil fuels have the capacity to generate a huge amount of electricity from a single source.
  2. They are pretty smooth to locate.
  3. They are less costly.
  4. Pipelines make transportation of oil and gas very simple.
