Explain why men and clay are closely associated since ancient times .

There is an association between men and clay which can be seen and understood in the following ways :

1)Clay, a finely grained material mainly composed of rock or soil materials has been found since the evolution of earth.
2)During ancient times, men started using clay and water to create pottery. Not only this men also started making construction materials like bricks out of clay.
3)Even houses were built of clay and ancient men started residing inside these houses.
4)Later men started making painting and other decorative items out of clay.Clay was also used in stone ware.
5)In historical sites such as Harappa and Mohenjo Daro , many articles made of clay were found during excavation.
