$$o-hydroxy$$ benzaldehyde involves intramolecular hydrogen bonding hence it is a liquid because its intramolecular forces is low.

On the other hand, $$p-hydroxy$$ benzaldehyde involves intermolecular hydrogen bonding and therefore it is solid.
