  3. Seeds sown too deep in the soil do not germinate because they are unable to get sufficient oxygen.
  4. If oxygen is not present then the seed can not respire and oxidation of food will not take place.
  5. Seeds will not germinate as air is not there.
  6. So we should not sow the seeds too deep into the soil.
