Solution

A body is waid to be accelerated when it changs either direction or speed or both. in uniform motion as its direction is constantly changing., the body id said to be accelerated. the body is moving with a constant speed and not velocity

NOw, let the body is moving in a circular motion with a constant speed. When the body is moving in a circular motion, its direction changes continously. Since , the velocity is vector quantity and changes with the change in the direction, so velocity also changes continously.

Acceleration is the change in velocity per unit time. Since, the velocity is continously changing, so we can say that body in a circular motion is accelerated.
