Question

Explain why there is no waste in a forest

Open in App
Solution

There are microorganisms on the forest floor like bacteria and fungi which decompose the organic matter present in dead plants, dead animals and animal wastes and convert them into simple substances which mix up in the soil. Thus, microorganisms present in the forest clean up the environment by degrading the harmful and smelly substances.
