Solution

Biodegradable Products:

  1. The term "biodegradable" relates to the materials that can be broken down or degraded naturally.
  2. As a result of the processes due to natural things such as sunlight, bacteria, water, ozone, and other elements, the organic matter decomposes into organic manure.
  3. Biodegradable products, such as cow dung, are used to produce energy. Cow dung, combined with a mixture of water, forms slurry; and the slurry, which is decomposed by the action of decomposers, results in the formation of gobar gas, which is used as a source of energy in both the homes and the workplaces.

Biogas: Biogas is a type of sustainable energy created using organic waste and materials.

Constituents of biogas: Biogas is typically composed of 50-70 percent methane (CH4) and 25-45 percent carbon dioxide (CO2), with the remainder made up of various gases including hydrogen (H2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), water vapor (H2O), nitrogen (N2), oxygen (O2) and ammonia (NH3).
