Explain with examples : Essential elements

Essential Elements are that elements which are required by the living organism to maintain their normal growth, development & metabolism, like as K is helpful in opening and closing stomata, Mg is helpful in photosynthesis etc. It must be taken from the external medium. Essential elements classified into two groups based on their requirement.
(i) Macroelements: It is required in large amount for the plant example - K, O, Mg etc.
(ii) Microelements: It is required in the small amount for the plants, example - Mo, Ni etc.
