Explain with the example rough and smooth surfaces

Dear Student,
Rough Surface: The surface which has lots of irregularity is considered as rough surface. Rough surface produce more friction. Eg. Cemented floor, Concrete floor etc.
Smooth Surface: The surface which has very less or no irregularity is considered as smooth surface. Eg. Glossy tiles, Marble slabs etc.
