Explain with the help of an example each the three population interaction where the organisms live closely together.

The population interactions are as follows -
1. Predation includes any interaction between two species in which one species benefits by obtaining resources from and to the detriment of the other . In this one is benefited and the other loses . Example: Tapeworm is a parasite on human which attaches to the intestinal walls.
2. Competition exists when multiple organisms vie for the same, limiting resource.In this no one wins . Example : competition between same species or different species.
3. Mutualism describes an interaction that benefits both species. In this both are benefitted .Example : The mutualistic relationship between alga and fungus that form lichens.
