Express 44 as sum of two prime numbers:

The number other than 1,whose only factors are 1 and the number itself are called prime numbers.

Prime numbers are 2,3,5,..., etc.

So, 44=37+7 or 44=41+3

Hence, 44 can be written as sum of 37+7 or 41+3.
