Open in App
Solution

Odd integers are those integers which are not divisible by 2 and they have difference of 2 in two consecutive odd integers.

If n represent the first odd integer then

The two consecutive integers are n and (n+2)

Now, the sum of two consecutive integer is n+(n+2)

Hence, the sum of two consecutive odd integers is n+(n+2).
