=d2+3-d(d-4)-2(d-4)d(d-2)=d2+3-d2+4d-2d+8d(d-2) (group the like term together)

=(d2-d2)+(4d-2d)+(3+8)d(d-2) (combine the like terms together)

=2d+11d(d-2)

Hence, the difference in the simplest form is 2d+11d(d-2).
