The correct options are
A $3 x - 8 y = 0$
B $8 x - 3 y = 0$
Let the two numbers be $x$ and $y$ .
Now, according to question
$\frac{x}{y} = \frac{3}{8}$
$\Rightarrow 8 x = 3 y$
$\Rightarrow 8 x - 3 y = 0$
Or
$\frac{y}{x} = \frac{3}{8}$
$\Rightarrow 8 y = 3 x$
$\Rightarrow 3 x - 8 y = 0$
