The correct option is B 55
Let S10 denote the sum of first 10 natural numbers.
S10 = 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10(1)
Since reversing the order in which the numbers are added will not change the sum, we have
S10 = 10+9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1.(2)
Adding equations (1) and (2), we have
2S10 = 11+11+11+11+11+11+11+11+11+11.
2S10 = 11×10
S10=11×102=55
Thus, the sum of first 10 natural numbers is 55.
