(Extension to my previous question) Also, what does it really means for a physical quantity to be a supplementary quantity?

as the name suggest, supplementary quantities are geometrical measurements (like angle) for 2d and 3d structures. they are actually supplementary tools for the measurement of fundamentals, if required.
