We know that,
Volume of cuboid
=Length×Breadth×Height

Given that,
External dimensions of cuboid
=30 cm×25 cm×20 cm
Internal dimensions of cuboid
=(304) cm×(254) cm×(204) cm
=26 cm×21 cm×16 cm

Hence, the volume of wood used to create the cuboid
= External volume of cuboid - Internal volume of cuboid
=(30×25×20)(26×21×16)

=6264 cm3
