The correct option is B onto but not one-one
f(x)=1x2+1
limx±f(x)=0
limx0,f(x)=1
So range of f(x) is [0,1] & that is codomain of f(x). So f(x) is onto.
but f(x) is symmetric about yaxis it is not a monotonic function.
So it is not one - one.
