Step I - Let's find the factors of the numerator 12x4+8x3-2x.

Here we can take 2x as the common in all the three terms. So we get,

12x4+8x3-2x = 2x(6x3+4x2-1)

Step II - Put the factors of the numerator and divide them by their denominator.

12x4+8x3-2x2x = 2x(6x3+4x2-1)2x

Now, canceling out to 2x. We get 6x3+4x2-1

Therefore, the factors of 12x4+8x3-2x2x= 6x3+4x2-1.
