Factorisation by Grouping Terms
Factorise it:...
Question
Factorise it:-
(n - 10)
2
+ (10 - n)
Open in App
Solution
Given (n – 10)^2 + (10 – n)
= (10 – n)^2 + (10 – n)
We can change n-10 is 10-n because negative inside the bracket is cancel by squaring
= (10 – n)[(10 – n) + 1]
= (10 – n)(11 – n)
OR
(n-10)^2+(10-n)
⇒(n^2-20n+100)+(10-n)
⇒n^2-21n+110
