The correct option is A (x+6)(x1)
Given, the expression is
x2+5x6.
Comparing the above expression with the identity x2+(a+b)x+ab
We note that,
(a+b)=5 and ab=6
So,
6+(1)=5 and (6)(1)=6

Hence,
x2+5x6
=x2+6xx6
=x(x+6)1(x+6)
=(x+6)(x1)
