Solution

The correct option is B

(x+6)(x+6)

The expression x2+12x+36 can be written as,

=x2+2×x×6+62.....(i)

Comparing (i) with the identity a2+2ab+b2=(a+b)2

a2=x2a=x.....(ii)

2ab=2×x×6

b2=62b=6...(iii)

From (ii) and (iii),

x2+12x+36=(x+6)2=(x+6)(x+6)

Therefore, the factors of x2+12x+36 are (x+6) and (x+6).
