Given,
to factorise $x^{2} + 18 x + 32$
let, $x^{2} + 18 x + 32 = 0$
$\Leftrightarrow x^{2} - 16 x - 2 x + 32 = 0$
$\Rightarrow x (x - 16) - 2 (x - 16) = 0$
$(x - 2) (x - 16) = 0$
$x - 2 = 0; x - 16 = 0$
$x = 2; x = 16$
$∴ x = 2, 16$
