$\Rightarrow y^{2} + 25 y - 22 y - 550 = 0$
$\Rightarrow y (y + 25) - 22 (y + 25) = 0$
$\Rightarrow (y + 25) (y - 22) = 0$
$∴ y = - 25, 22$
