We know $16 x^{2} + 24 x y + 9 y^{2}$ $= (4 x)^{2} + 2 (4 x) (3 y) + (3 y)^{2}$
We know appropriate identities is $x^{2} + 2 x y + y^{2} = (x + y)^{2}$
Here $x = 4 x$ and $y = 3 y$
Thus $(4 x)^{2} + 2 (4 x) (3 y) + (3 y)^{2}$ $= (4 x + 3 y)^{2}$
