FeI3 does not exist because Fe3+ oxidises I− to I2
While Fe3+ is stable, Mn3+ is not stabe in acid solution because: (Mn3++e−→Mn2+, E∘=1.5 V;O2+4H++4e−→2H2O, E∘=+1.23V;Fe3++e−→Fe2+,E∘=0.77V)
Why Fe2+ radialy oxidises to Fe3+??
