  2. These shorter vocal cords vibrate more quickly and produce a higher pitch.
  3. Higher pitch resembles greater frequency, greater the frequency more is the shrillness.
  4. While in men, the size of the vocal cords is longer than in females.
  5. These longer vocal cords vibrate with low frequencies giving them a deeper or coarse voice, thus less shrillness is produced in men.
