Figure below shows the distance-time graph of three objects A, B and C. Find the speed of all the three bodies. Which of the following three is travelling the fastest? [3 MARKS]

Finding speed of A,B,C : 1 Mark each

We know, $speed=\frac{distance}{time}$

Speed of Car A = $\frac{S_{final}-S_{initial}}{time}$ = $\frac{13-8}{1.4}=3.57kmph$
Speed of Car B = $\frac{S_{final}-S_{initial}}{time}$ = $\frac{8-0}{0.6}=13.33kmph$
Speed of Car C = $\frac{S_{final}-S_{initial}}{time}$ = $\frac{13-4}{1.4}=6.43kmph$
Hence, Car B is travelling fastest.
