## The correct option is D Field at point 'a' due to Q and induced charges on inner surface of conductor is zero. Due to electrostatic shielding, the electric field at point a due to induced charges on the inner surface of the conductor will be zero. Similar case is applicable for point c due to induced charges on the outer surface. Option (c) and (d) are correct. Net field at point b will be zero (since it is inside the conductor), but field due to induced charges alone will not be zero. Also, field at point a will not be zero since there are induced charges on the outer surface of the conductor. i.e option (a) and (b) are wrong.
