Given:
Angular velocity of plane mirror,
ω=1/s clockwise.



In 15 s, mirror will rotate by 15. Thus, reflected ray will rotate by 30 as its angular velocity will be 2/s clockwise.

At any time t,


From the diagram
x=3tanθ
dxdt=3sec2θdθdt

At t=15 s, θ=60

Speed of the spot at t=15 s,
vp=3×sec2(60)×2

[since dθdt= angular velocity of rotation of reflected ray]

vp=3×4×2×π180=2π15 m/s

Hence, option (d) is the correct answer.
