Figure Shows the graph of velocity versus time for a particuler going along the X-axis. Find

(a) The aceleration,

(b) The distance reavelled in 0 to 10 s and

(c) The displacement in 0 to 10 s.

(a) Intial velocity, u=2$\frac{\text{m}}{\text{s}}$
Final velocity, v=8$\frac{\text{m}}{\text{s}}$
Time=10 sec
Acceleration =$\frac{v-u}{t}$
=$\frac{8-2}{10}=\frac{6}{10}=0.6\frac{\text{m}}{\text{s^2}}$

(b) $v^2-u^2$=2aS
$\Rightarrow$ Distance, S=$\frac{v^2-u^2}{2a}$
=$\frac{8^2-2^2}{2\times 0.6}=50m$

(c) Displacement is same as distance travelled.

Travelled = 50 m
