The correct option is C 2 cm, 18 cm, 22 cm

Here, in the figure first three images formed in M2 are I2, I12 and I21/2.

Object distance for image, I2 is 2 cm,
So, the image formed at distance 2 cm left from M2.

Now, I1 is the object for the image I12, which is at distance (8+8+2=18 cm) right from M2.

So, the image distance would be 18 cm left from M2.

Similarly,
I21 is the object for the image I21/2 which is at distance (12+8+2=22 cm) from M2.
So, the image distance would be 22 cm from M2.

Hence, option (c) is the correct option.
