Solution

The correct option is A $cos θ$
since $B$ remains in north of $A$ always
$∴$ the velocities along exist must be same
$∴ V_{B} cos θ = V_{A}$
$∴ \frac{V_{A}}{V_{B}} = cos θ$
Hence $,$ option $(A)$ is correct $.$
