(i) We know that 1 meter can be divided in 100 equal parts in cm scale.​
Therefore, 1 m = 100 cm.​

(ii) 1 sq. cm = 1cm × 1cm.

(iii) Finding the relation between square meter and meter.
1 sq. m = 1m × 1m
Finding the relation between square meter and square cm.
1 sq. m = 1m × 1m
= 100 cm × 100 cm
Therefore, 1 sq. m = 1m × 1m = 100cm × 100cm

(iv) We know that 1 m = 100 cm.
1 sq. m = 100 × 100 sq. cm
= 10000 sq. cm
Hence, 1 sq. m × 1000 sq. cm.
