Solution

The correct option is A a little

The adjectives ‘little’, ‘a little’, ‘few’ and ‘a few’ are used to denote quantity. ‘A few’ and ‘a little’ mean some, whereas ‘few’ and ‘little’ mean hardly any. ‘A few’ and ‘few’ are used for countable nouns. On the other hand ‘a little’ and ‘little’ are used for uncountable nouns. As ‘apple juice’ is an uncountable noun, we cannot use ‘a few’ or ‘few’. Hence option C and D are incorrect. ‘A little’ means some; which is apt here because the person asking the listener to give him/her some juice. Thus option A is correct. On the other hand, we cannot use ‘little’. The statement clearly conveys a positive meaning, and ‘little’ is used only in a negative sentence to convey the complete lack of something. Thus option B is incorrect.
