Solution

The correct option is A a little

Firstly we cannot use ‘a few’ because it is generally used to denote a countable noun. Since ‘Korean’ is a language it is uncountable. Thus option D is incorrect. The given sentence conveys a positive meaning wherein the person can speak some Korean. Thus ‘little’ cannot be used since ‘little’ means hardly any. It has a negative meaning. Thus option A is incorrect. On the other hand, ‘the little’ means not much, but all of the words in a given category that is discussed. The sentence doesn’t speak about small group words that the person can speak. It speaks about the person’s language skills in general; thus ‘the little’ couldn’t be suitable. Hence option C is incorrect. Whereas ‘a little’ means some, which has a positive connotation Thus option B is correct.
