(i) Nervous system is absent in plants.
Plants respond to stimuli and communicate with the help of hormones such as auxins, cytokinins, gibberellins abscisic acid and ethylene. These hormones are translocated from one part of the plant to the other.
(ii) Both the parents contribute equal amount of genetic material to the offspring.
Gametes have a haploid set of chromosomes which are the genetic material. The maternal and paternal gamete fuse to form a zygote which receives equal genetic material from both the parents.
