The three kinds of supportive tissue are parenchyma, collenchyma, sclerenchyma. ​

  1. Parenchyma- There cells are large, thin walled, oval, or circular with usually a single large vacuole.​

  2. Collenchyma- Cells are living, elongated and irregularly thickened at the corners.​

  3. Sclerenchyma- The cells of sclerenchyma tissue are dead. They are long and narrow in appearance​
