i) The factors of a number are numerals which exactly divide the number and thus, they are smaller than or equal to the number. Thus, there is a finite number of them. For e.g.- The factors of 6 are 2 and 3.

ii) A multiple of a positive number is basically that number added to itself multiple times. Thus, the multiple of a number will always be equal to or greater than that number. For e.g.- 4 is a multiple of 2 and it is greater than 2.

iii) A number can be added to itself infinite number of times. Thus, it can have infinite multiples.

iv) Any number multiplied by 1 will result in the same number. Thus, every number is a multiple of itself. For e.g.- 5 multiplied by 1 will result in 5.
