Open in App
Solution

Step 1 : Find the additive inverse

Given: ab is the additive inverse of cd

So, cd is the additive inverse of ab.

Step 2 : Find their sum

We know that, the sum of two numbers which are additive inverse of each other, is zero.

So,

ab+cd=cd+ab=0
