As we know that, two angles are said to be supplementary angles if they add up to $180°$.

Supplement angle : One angle from a pair of supplementary angles.

Now, as per the question :

The sum of $\angle AOE$ and $\angle AOC$ is $180°$.( i.e. $\angle AOE+\angle AOC=\angle EOC=180°$) ($\because$ angles on a straight line add up to $180°$)

So, $\angle AOE$ is $\angle AOC$ are supplementary angles.

Hence supplement of $\angle AOE$ is $\angle AOC$.
