Solution

Cotton manufacturing production stages:

  1. Picking and aligning
After picking the cotton, the raw fiber from the cotton plant is cleaned and carded - and sometimes combed - to remove natural build-up such as leaves and twigs that become entangled during the picking process. This procedure also cleans and aligns the fibers.

2. Spinning

  1. After that, the cotton fibers are spun into yarn. Yarn can be spun in a variety of ways, which we'll go over later. The yarn is then woven on a loom to produce fabric.
  2. A dobby loom is used for plain fabric or fabrics with a basic design, such as a stripe, whereas a jacquard loom is used for more complicated patterns, such as logos or floral designs.

3. Bleaching and Ginning

  1. The fabric is then processed through a number of stages, including desizing, singeing, mercerizing, and bleaching, to produce a soft, absorbent, clean white fabric that is ready for use.
  2. The fabric is then cut and sewn into the finished product.
