We have, $(3 x^{2} y + 2 y^{2} + 5) - (x^{2} y + y^{2} + 3) = 3 x^{2} y + 2 y^{2} + 5 - x^{2} y - y^{2} - 3 = 2 x^{2} y + y^{2} + 2$
$∴$ Coefficient of $y = 2 x^{2}$
