ADH or vasopressin is secreted by neurohypophysis and produced by the hypothalamus of brain. The release of this hormone is normally seen when the osmoreceptors in hypothalamus detect an increase in osmolarity of blood. In this situation, the osmoreceptor cells also promote thirst. It also increases the reabsorption of water in DCT and collecting duct.
So the correct answer is vasopressin or ADH.
