Solution
F1-F0 particles participate in the synthesis of ATP (Adenine Dinucleotide Diphosphate).
This complex V which is a part of oxidative phosphorylation is present on the inner membrane of mitochondria where the head piece is the F1 and the F0 is integrated in the membrane.
The elctron in the electron transport chain pass through this complex and are used in the synthesis of energy via production of ATP in presence of enzyme ATP synthase.
As one electron passes from the inner mitochondrial membrane to the out side of it (that is between the inner and the outer mitochondrial membrane) through the F1-F0 it provides the energy for synthesis of ATP from ADP and inorganic P.
