(a) LPG is a fossil fuel but biogas is not a fossil fuel.

LPG or liquified petroleum gas is a derivative of petroleum which is a fossil fuel whereas, biogas is a mixture of methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and hydrogen sulphide produced by anaerobic degradation of animal waste such as cow dung in presence of water.
